Chantelle Houghton has reportedly walked out on her fiance Alex Reid.

The former Celebrity Big Brother housemate is expecting her first child with Katie Price’s ex and was living with the cage fighter in advance of their wedding.

However, The People reports that the blonde beauty left the beefy star last week and has spent the last four nights sleeping on the floor of her old flat, which has no furniture.

All her belongings were moved to the new home last year, however after a series of explosive rows insiders claim the couple have split and Chantelle has left the £600,000 house and taken some time on her own.

A friend told the newspaper that they are worried about the wellbeing of the mum to be, explaining:

“She is absolutely devastated. She is in a complete state. She moved back into her flat, where she feels safe. She wont tell any of us what Alex has done.”

“There are some very worried people. Shes eight months pregnant and is holed up in a flat on her own without even a bed to sleep on.”

“Whatever happened must be catastrophic because shed never have fled her home for no good reason.”

It is relived that Houghton is staying quiet about whatever happened between her and Reid and playing her cards close to her chest. However she tweeted some clues earlier this week, writing:

‘Karma is a bitch and Im so glad it is cos people only find out how much of a bitch it is when its too late and theyve hurt u.’

Chantelle shot to fame as the first ‘non-celebrity’ to feature in the Channel 4 reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother in 2006.

She won the fourth series of the show, beating 10 celebrities: (Michael Barrymore, Maggot, Samuel Preston, Pete Burns, Traci Bingham, Dennis Rodman, George Galloway, Rula Lenska, Faria Alam and Jodie Marsh) and winning a prize of £25,000.

Following a much-publicised on-screen courtship, Houghton married former fellow Celebrity Big Brother 2006 contestant Samuel Preston of The Ordinary Boys in August 2006. The couple announced their separation in June 2007, and divorced on 21 November 2007.
