Davina McCall Defends Coolio
Davina McCall has always been a woman after my own heart, no time more so than when she defended Big Brother housemate Coolio this week.
Coolio is being blasted from all sides for being a sexist bully, but show host Davina believes that people have the wrong idea about the rapper.
She said: “I don’t think he hates women at all. I think he has a great respect for certain types of women.
“He is judgmental about women, but Coolio is not alone in that.
“There are a lot of men in the world who think that if a woman wears a short skirt or wiggles her bum, or if she hangs out with a man, then that is inappropriate.”

Coolio has no respect for anyone and his excuse he is playing a game is pathetic, itsa not a game if you are offending/upsetting people. Davina spoke up for Alex on BB last year and gave the worst housemates a easy ride and the nice ones a hard ride so that says it all. Personally I think Coolio should have been chucked out, watching some of his behaviour late at night and listening to his conversation is sickening. I do not understand how people can like him or call him entertaining, he treats women like dirt and I could never find anyone like that amusing or entertaining or call it playing the game I have too much respect for myself or other people to find his behaviour acceptable. Anywhere else and it would be sexual harrassment.

After seeing Davina’s eviction interview of Tina and Davina’s support of Coolio’s disgusting behaviour I decided to complain to channel 4 for the first time. I thought Davina did a very poor interview where, when she thought Tina’s views were not to BB’s liking she put Tina down or put a stop to the comments. For example when Tina correctly said that Verne was not a good judge of character Davina said “well it was just the once” and would not allow Tina to make her point by bitchily saying that “can’t get a word in edge ways”. This is because BB wants Verne to win. The guy is actually a sleazebag, whatever his stature. This type of treatment of contestants does not make viewers happy. Tina was great entertainment and a good woman. We want interviews to be about the evictee’s experience and not about what Davina or BB wants the viewers to hear. Davina also implied that she did not support Tina’s opinion of Coolio, making excuses for him. In civilized society Coolio’s behaviour is viewed as despicable wherever you come from. It is not an excuse to say the guy is from a different culture so people have to tolerate abuse. In the Uk people have lost their lives to this type of Gangster culture with knives and ignorance/ bad family upbringing. Davina, tell that to parents who have lost a child due to this type of culture, you are a parent yourself. Your views are to save BB more controversy so that you can hold on to the only job you have had on TV. You say Ulrika is just doing the show for money, but why are you doing this show? Viewers are not fools you big hypocrite! Ulrika is a working mum just like you.
