The Big Brother team are heading to Manchester this week, to continue auditions for the summer series of the reality TV show.

The tryouts will take place on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th February 2012 in Manchester Central Convention Centre and there to meet and greet this year’s batch of hopefuls will be former Celebrity Big brother housemate Kerry Katona.

Channel 5 press revealed the news on Twitter this morning, writing:

Got a VERY special surprise celeb guest coming to the Big Brother auditions tomorrow…

They later added:

Our special celebrity guest who will be joining us for the Manchester Big Brother auditions this Saturday is the lovely @KerryKatona7 !!

Kerry of course returned to the limelight in the 2011 series of celebrity Big Brother last summer, and lived in the famous Elstree residence alongside stars such as Amy Childs, Jedward and Tara Reid amongst others. She was voted the runner-up in the final and My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding star Paddy Doherty went on to win the series.

Katona will most likely be glad of the opportunity to get her face seen once more, as it was recently reported that the mum of four is on the brink of bankruptcy once more, after struggling to pay yet another tax bill.

More Big Brother auditions will take place in London, Saturday 18th, Sunday 19th and Monday 20th February 2012 at Wembley Stadium and in Glasgow on Saturday 25th February and Sunday 26th February 2012 at Glasgow SECC.
