LaToya Jackson evicted from Celebrity Big Brother

Well, LaToya becomes the fourth person to be evicted from Celebrity Big Brother on the public vote. She took the news with characteristic good grace, and left the house to massive cheers.

She’s in the studio with Davina right now, talking about the Big Brother experience and how that’s been good for bringing her out of her shell. She says she hates being so shy, and she’s glad she went into the house.

Talking about Verne and Coolio – she calls Coolio “extremely friendly and extremely funny”. She’s a little embarrassed when Davina tells her Coolio thought she was the hottest woman in the house.

On Verne – “he is the funniest character when he drinks. He just says what he feels.” She talks about taking care of Verne when he was drunk and how cute he was.

LaToya’s very frank about wanting to win and also about Michelle having a game plan too. She doesn’t see it as a problem that Michelle wanted to win.

On Tommy Sheridan – she says she doesn’t feel good about people putting America down. “When he makes comments of that nature, I ignore it. I ignore the things that I don’t feel are soothing for the brain or the heart.”

On Ulrika – “I liked her from the beginning. At the end, I really felt better about her – I saw a personality coming out that I didn’t see prior to that. There was a distance between us. She opened up because there wasn’t another girl there for her to be with.”

Speaking about the Jackson family, she says “you get so many people saying things when they don’t really know the family or the individuals. And all these things are not true, but you get to the point where you say, ‘I really don’t care what they think’.”

On Terry Christian – “Terry is a very open, warm, friendly person. I liked Terry from the very beginning. He’s very knowledgeable about music.”

Has Big Brother changed her? “In a sense, yes. It’s taught me to be more open, be a bit more outgoing with strangers. Being with strangers like that, it teaches you to be a bit more outgoing and have more of a conversation with them, and that’s what I did.”
