So Celebrity Big Brother launched tonight and already I’m quite excited about the series ahead.

But out of the eleven ‘celebrities’ who entered the house, there are a few who I would not recognise on the street and a few more who achieved such a minor level of fame a long time ago they no longer deserve the big C title.

Latoya Jackson (sister of Michael) I have heard of but never actually seen, I have never even heard of glamour model Lucy Pinder, Steve Strange released a few good songs in the eighties but has only resurfaced since to cut some hair on Celebrity Scissohands and Shameless actress Tina Malone is hardly an A list star.

But the worst of the bunch has got to be Ben Adams formerly of short lived boyband A1. I don’t think he was even a real celebrity for the few weeks that his band was topping the charts, and I have no idea how he managed to land a place on tonight’s reality extravaganza. I bet he had to pay Channel 4 to let him join in!

However of the few people I do recognise, I am looking forward to watching Ulrika Jonsson and hoping that she spills the beans on at least a few of her sordid affairs with other famous people. I think that Coolio could be quite good fun as this is by no means his first venture into the realm of reality TV, also Tommy Sheridan, though not famous as such, is quite the fiery sort and should be at the centre of some controversial conversations.
