Former New Romantics singer Steve Strange is said to have been a last minute addition to the Celebrity Big Brother lineup.

The show kicks off tonight but Steve is thought to have only signed up for the series within the last few days.

A source told The Sun: “He’s not a huge name like LaToya Jackson but he’s a zany character and that’s what Big Brother is all about.

“Steve’s got a murky past and he’s very open with it. He’s not afraid of drama and he’s a captivating character.”
