Tax inspectors want to meet Vinnie Jones IN THE Celebrity Big Brother house!
Pissed off tax inspectors are reportedly trying to gain access to the Celebrity Big brother house, in a bid to claim some of Vinnie Jones reported £50,000 entrance fee.
Sources suggest that Vinnie Jones Enterprises Limited (a company set up by Vinnie in 1999) owes £128,000 in unpaid tax and though Vinnie was told that he was not personally liable for the debt, he is the only company director. Tax bosses are said to have already submitted a case to the High Court but are now hoping to meet the evasive football star whilst he is on the Channel 4 reality TV show.
A show insider told The Daily Star: “This could be very embarrassing for Vinnie. So far he’s undoubtedly come across as the star of the show. But that could all change if the tax inspectors go in the house and quiz him about the debt.”
“They know he’s getting a big fee for being on the show and if his company owes them money you can guess where they think they’ll get it from.”
The liquidators have already issued a statement saying: “It’s our duty to investigate the activities of Vinnie Jones, the causes for the failure and to seek recovery of any assets.”
Ohhhh I wonder if they will convene their meeting in the diary room? I bet Vinnie punches whichever bespectacled jobsworth they send down to retrieve the cash! Bring on the drama.
