Controversial Scottish politician, Tommy Sheridan is said to be ready to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house tonight.

Tommy will be the second politician to appear on the show after George Galloway made a fool of himself in 2007 by impersonating a horny cat.

Rupert Adams, from William Hill, isn’t optimistic about Tommy’s chances and would not be surprised if he was the first to be evicted from the house.

He said:

“Historically, politicians or people in current affairs have tended to do badly, because they don’t appeal to the generation that watches Big Brother,” he said. “If you are opinionated, as Tommy is, you are also in trouble – I would not be surprised if he is the first one out.”
