Bosses behind E4 reality tv show, Celebrity Hijack are said to be in a state of panic, after a practice run for the show went wrong this week.

The producers had hoped that the incredibly gifted and talented young people taking part would prove to be the real stars of the show, however in a dummy run this week, most of the entertainment was provided by the celebrities playing Big Brother.

A source told The Daily Mail: “Basically the problem was the celebrities totally out-shone and overshadowed the contestants.

“They were much more entertaining than the housemates. Now there are some very worried people around.

“Would you rather see and listen to the likes of Jimmy Carr and Matt Lucas or a young unknown who’s good at chess or plays the violin?

“Staff will work around the clock tweaking the show to make sure it works well.”
