ITV have today confirmed a brand new TV show, which will take the Sunday night January slot, replacing Dancing On Ice in 2015.
Get Your Act Together will take the place of the cancelled ice skating series, which ran for nine series and came to an end in February 2015, due to falling ratings and the departures of show bosses, trainers and choreographers Torvill and Dean.

When it was announced that long-running show Dancing on Ice was to end, viewers were divided about the news, with some agreeing with ITV that after a nine-year run, it was high time to call it a day, while others were upset that the show was ending.
However, host Phillip Schofield has now revealed that although he believes the show – and his run on it – ended with “style and dignity,” he was “in bits” on finale night. Read on »
Apparently, former Dancing on Ice co-presenter (and thinking-woman’s pin up) Phillip Schofield is about to front a new game show – he of course also hosts The Cube on ITV – in which the contestants will by hypnotised, with the hope being that they then LOSE!
The show, which reportedly has the working title of, You’re Back in the Room, will feature “Irish mentalist” Keith Barry, who, as well as being a hypnotist, regularly performs mad stunts and magic tricks. Read on »

Although the tears that were shed during last weekend’s last ever Dancing on Ice finale are barely dry, presenters Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley seem to have hinted that the show could return at some point.
What’s On TV report that silver fox Phil said, “Ice-dancing is very popular in this country and, for me, ITV has the spiritual ownership of light entertainment skating.”
