Aggie Mackenzie Leaves Dancing On Ice

Dancing On Ice 2008: Aggie Mackenzie

FINALLY!!! Aggie Mackenzie has skated for what I hope is the last time!

The ‘How Clean Is Your House’ star, got voted off ITV’s Dancing On Ice tonight. So we can all rest easy, and I for one will be able to watch the show without feeling nervous about witnessing a TV star’s death or vegetablisation.

Aggie was given an awful song tonight, her Broadway tune was ‘I’m So Pretty’. Were Torville and Dean having a laugh? She fell and stumbled through her first attempt, and although her bum stayed off the ice during the skate off the skating was almost worse.

I think most of you would agree that if the show was purely based on talent, Aggie would have left in week one. She was a trooper to stick it for so long, but I bet even she’s relieved that it’s all over!

Slightly un-related but I would like to comment on the audience’s shameful booing of the judges. I think they are really beginning to upset the camp bald one.

I remember going backstage on strictly come dancing and seeing Craig Revel-Hall crying into his Gin and Tonic. I overheard him saying “Why do they boo me so much. I’m just being honest, Sharon from Eastenders was awful tonight. It just hurts my feelings so much.”

I think something should be done.

I’m sorry but the nasty comments that Jason gives to the contestants if uncalled for so if he does not like being booed perhaps he should stick to just commenting fairly instead of giving personal insults. Ever heard of the saying if you can’t take it don’t give it, I think Jason should remember this, apparantly he is just as rude off camera as well. He has no sympathy from me and deserves to be booed, I think he likes the attention anyway.

I loved Aggie. She was game and brave and her larger than life personality overshadowed everyone else. I am glad though that she has left, I don’t think she could have taken much more. Everyone loves Aggie and she has the character to remember the experience with fondness and challenge.

I don’t know about Jason being mean. I met him once and he gave me his last rolo after I’d fallen over on the ice and grazed my knee. I wasn’t skating it was just the middle of winter.

Hardly the actions of a nasty man?
