Bruce Forsyth Thinks There Are Too Many Reality TV Shows!
TV veteran, Bruce Forsyth has remarked that he thinks there are far too many reality TV shows, and that soon people will tire of the format.
MSN quotes the soon to be Knighted Brucie as saying: “For me, there’s too much. X Factor is a great show and I’m not saying there’s not room for that as a show, but too many reality shows have happened.
“The public are starting to think, ‘Is there anything else but reality? What did we do before reality? Were we entertained? And if we were did we enjoy it?’ Personally, I’ve had enough of reality. I want to see performers performing.
He added: “Yes, amateurs should be put on television because they can become stars, but we have a lot of really good, professional, young performers and we don’t see enough of them.”
I hope he’s not right. If he is I will soon be out of a job!!!!

Bruce we do love you. But really to many reality shows and
your commentary seems to relate to talent shows. Yet you are
supportive of only one the X factor. Shame on you Brucie. Tv
talent shows are the most entertaining to watch. Even if you
critical of them.
I think some reality shows could do with a break as they seem
to go on to long. Big brother for instance, Oops I did type a
more appropriate title Bog Brother. One of the survival or island challenge programmes is to much. Career swop and wife swop. In my view at least two of these could go plus Big brother without being missed.
Also the make over programmes, it seems once one channel has one the other must come up with a similar show to compete for ratings.
Poor Brucie where would you have been today if the game shows had to be chopped all those years ago?
