Coleen Nolan May Be Forced To Leave Dancing On Ice
Loose Women panellist Coleen Nolan may be forced to leave Dancing On Ice after suffering her second injury in a week.
Last week Coleen sustained a suspected fracture in her hand and just yesterday, whilst practising a high wire routine, the presenter dislocated a rib.
The on site medics couldn’t help Coleen as the rib was pressing on a disc in her spine and causing her extreme pain so she was rushed to a nearby A&E.
A spokesman for the Loose Women presenter told The Mirror: “It doesn’t look good for her ice dream.
“She’ll be heartbroken if she has to pull out. We’re all just keeping our fingers crossed she’ll be fit enough but it’s not looking good.”
Coleen found out on Sunday night that she had made the semi-finals of the show, to the dismay of many viewers. Maybe if Coleen is out they will bring back Zoe Salmon who surely deserves a place in the penultimate show?

Not being nasty or anything, but Coleen Nolan should retire
from dancing on ice, as just because she gets the publics
popular vote, she is making others skaters who are good, to be
knocked out, and lets face it – SHE IS’NT A GOOD SKATER in any
stretch of the imagination. She should do the decent thing like John Sargeant did and leave now. It is spoiling the show and I’m with
Jason’s comments when he tries to tell her she should go now.
I agree, if Coleen makes the final, I wont be watching.
The show is called ‘dancing on ice’ not ‘most popular female comedienne on ice’.
i agree i have watched the show since it started but miss nolan has spoilt
this series by going on loose woman and begging her fans to keep her in as
she loves it, she olso has the mirror asking the public to vote for her.
i thought it was very unfair that she did’nt need to do the required element
due to her injury.the show should be called dancing with celebs what a shame
that she has spoilt a fab show if she reads this stand down miss nolan and
let the good skaters stay in and stop moaning on loose woman
I know she’s not be the best skater and I know that the show is about “Dancing on Ice”. But in the end it is an entertainment show and without doubt Coleen entertains me every week! If it was all about the best skater they could have stopped the show in week 1 and given the trophy straight over to Ray!
If she wanted to stand down from the show then all the people who voted for her in previous weeks would have done that for nothing, and because she is still there people are moaning about her. She’s damned if she does and she’s damned if she doesn’t.

To June, she is actually great friends with Jason and he isnt nasty at all, there great mates and he wants her to win.
To Pam, shes not a comedian, but thanks anyway. 10.5 million people vote, there voting to who they like and want to see more of, people dont care if theyre good or not obviously. If its down to the skating then Ray should won week one, but its about people’s favourtie.
To Jacqui,my mum has not begged at all, infact, she is probably the only contestant who doesnt need to win as she is the only won working, but to be fair, if she is begging to stay in, then wouldnt the other contestants be doing the same if they were on live tv everyday, but theyre not, there up at 6am skating in there free time. Theyre the desperate ones.
Im sorry for the outburst. But it saddens me to hear people talk about your mum like this, im sure you would do the same.

i agree with u Jake, she may not be the best skater but she defiantly has tried the hardest. She would be missed by millions of people if she was not to make the final.
I really hope that her recent rib injury does not cause her to leave the competition as it wold be a great shame and she deserves to still be skating just as much as any1 else in the competiton.

I have already commented about Coleen. It really is immoral for her to be congratulating herself on reaching the semi final and if she does continue and do well, it will be a hollow victory and I’m sure that is not what she would want. There is no glory in that. Roxanne and Zoe put in such a lot of work and are so much more talented, they really did not deserve to go out first. Coleen will lose so many of her admirers if she does not quit the show and the producers at ITV will not want that either. I personally will not watch “STRICTLY” again as it was positively criminal the way the voting went during the last show. I hope DANCING ON ICE does not do the same.
Dear Jake, it must be very hard for you to read the comments about your mums skating, but you must agree, people take it serious and come on all we are saying is she cant skate. I am at the stage now, I hope she will win, because the really good skaters are gone, but what your mum is going to do going round the rink with – out holding his hand will be the funniest entertainment we will ever, ever see. Hey well sorry guys i think half of yous are talking rubish Coleen is really good can skate if she could not skae she would be falling every where which she is no doing and i am proud of her she had a fractured wrist and still went out and skated and not alot of them would do that and as well at least she is trying and i am baking her all the way Coleen Nolan to win

Jake, obviously it is understandable about you making comments regarding what is being said about your mom, I personally really like Coleen and think she is great at everything else she does and has an brilliant personality but unfortunately I agree with a few others thinking that the wrong people are being taken out of the show, clearly the final three should have been Ray, Jessica and Zoe which would have made an amazing final.
I don’t mean any disrespect by my comments but it is called Dancing On Ice. I also strongly disagreed with the fact that Todd Carty stayed in for so long. Even if one of my idols were on the show I still would not vote them in if I thought they were not as good as the rest.
The show, and Coleen are victims of the voting system which needs to change so the lowest placed by the judges faces a skate off with the lowest placed by the public. That way rubbish skaters wont stay in. What I find amazing is that Coleen is even popular!! Fat, unfit, loudmouthed comes to mind..and I wonder who in the world votes for her?
I agree with Natasha. The voting system does need to be changed, not only on this show but other “reality celebrity shows” i.e. Strictly Come Dancing. Until the voting system is changed this sort of controversy will continue. I really thought Coleen would have been out last Sunday. Just think if she had been voted off she wouldn’t have had her current injury and there wouldn’t be all this fuss about her being saved by the public, which doesn’t include me!

Its a TV show ladies, get over it! Of course its going to be popularity vote,10.5 million, yes it sucks but get over it. I cant believe your leaving comments on it, just shut up and watch the show, then get on with your normal lives and stop commenting on other people’s lives because you have nothing exciting going for you in yours!

I hope Collen leaves the show…finally, because she really can’t skate..that’s a FACT! I don’t like watching her TRYING to skate. If her fans vote for her she should quit. That way she wouldn’t ruin the show’s reputation.
Coleen is hardly on a level playing field… why I wonder dont the producers choose people of the same age group and calibre? I mean how can an overweight middle aged mum (not being nasty thats a fact) possible compete with 20s somethings or professional sportsmen? Frankly I feel sorry for Coleen..she seems to be suffering injuries coz she just isnt up to it and she shouldnt have been selected to appear on the show in the beginning!
ive got feeling she will be skating i bet a pound she will be skating. she so funny when she said shes going to book herself a breakdown and about she needed a gas tank chris couldnt stop laughing.

What I find strange though is I suspect Coleen actually thinks her skating is good. One week she said something like “I dont know what the public are seeing but thank goodness they are seeing it” as if we were all amazed at her skating ability. She should have been disqualified for not being able to complete the required element ..she clearly isnt going to gracefully retire!
I think that Coleen is great,ok admitidly Zoe Salmon is better on the ice than Coleen but at least Coleen tries her hardest and nevers gives up even with her injuries. A fractured wrist and a dislocated rib is very hard to work with even off the ice. I think that Coleen deserves her place at Dancing On Ice just as much as anyone else. Go Coleen you will do great! x

What a surprise yet again because Coleen is rubbish on the ice she has another ’serious’ injury meaning that she cannot do lifts etc face it Coleen you do not deserve to be in the semi finals you should have gone in week 2. leave now with what little dignity you possess.
