Sam Attwater is like a cat with nine lives and after being landed in four skateoffs already this series, he’s managed to survive and tonight he took part in the last ever Dancing On Ice semi final.
He won last week’s bottom two skate off against Kyran Bracken and tonight the former Eastenders star opened the ITV show, with a rather fantastic routine.
Before performing Sam admitted:
“If any routine will get us into the final it’s this one.”
“I am putting all this in because it’s worth it for me and I want to be in the final.”
Sam and his fiancé Vicky Ogden skated to Let Me Entertain You by Robbie Williams and entertain us they did!
The routine was super fast, soooooo tricky and the lifts were phenomenal. Sam and his lady were perfectly in sync – other than one small wobble at the beginning – and we think this was one of the best dances of the series so far.
The judges agreed and Sam received his highest score of the series before. Even Jason Gardiner loved it, which must have been nice for the duo.
ASHLEY ROBERTS: That was amazing. It was fun, fast and furious and a great way to start the semi final
KAREN BARBER: There were a few little problems but not enough to worry about. We hope you are here next week.
JASON GARDINER: That was explosive and energetic. That was some of the best partnering in the series. I loved the attack and everything. Spot on, great way to start the semi final.
ROBIN COUSINS: Explosuve is right because it did go out of that gate full force. Tonight you reigned it back in and it was absolutely on the money.
