Suzanne Shaw and Matt Evers may have endured a few disappointments on last week’s episode of Dancing On Ice but it seems the pair are putting it behind them and pushing forward in rehearsals for the next instalment.
The former Emmerdale actress not only lost out in her duel skate against Ray Quinn (but then who could beat Ray Quinn?) but she also had a bit of a stumble during her next routine after she and partner Matt literally got stuck together after a lift.
This weekend the pair will return to the ice for a special 80s themed show and it seems their new routine has got plenty of action and LOTS to get excited about.
In a new training video released by ITV today the couple can be seen trying out some pretty scary looking moves, including a dangerous neck spin.
Suzanne, who looks amazing by the way despite being in training gear and without makeup, was also pictured with her legs wrapped around Matt’s neck as he let go of her hands and started to twirl.
The pair have become very close pals off the rink too and Suzanne tweeted this week about spending an afternoon away from skating with Matt and her son, Corey.
The rehearsals are taking up most of her waking hours though and she posted tonight saying:
“What a long day! Looking forward for Sunday @dancingonice and a fun afternoon out with Corey and @TheMattEvers tomorrow”
On Monday she thanked fans for their continued support, adding:
“Thank you all so so much for the AMAZING support! Really loved last nights show! Even if I did stack it! Haha! Here’s to this week! X”
Tune in and watch Suzanne and Matt on Dancing On Ice this Sunday, 6.15pm.
