Dancing On Ice producers almost faced a walk out this week over a controversy about fake tan….no really….they are that petty!

“Tension is incredibly high backstage and even the slightest of things is setting off arguments,” a source told the Daily Star Sunday. “Everybody wants to win so much and some of the girls and their representatives thought that giving the boys the machine would give them an unfair advantage in the contest.

“At first, it was just a bit of a laugh. But then it turned very serious. The atmosphere suddenly became colder than the ice. It got so bad at one point that there were real fears there would be a walk-out by some of the girls.

“Luckily, after about two hours, things were smoothed over. But the girls still feel it was unfair.”
