Dancing On Ice 2009: Ellery Hanley

Ellery Hanley has been revealed as a competitor on this years Dancing On Ice series on ITV1.

In 2007 Hanley was voted as the greatest British rugby league player of all time. He was a rugby league footballer during the 1970s, 80s and 90s, and is now the head coach of the Doncaster RLFC of National League Two.

On this years series 47 year old Hanley will be teaming up with Frankie Poultney.

    three Cheers for Ellery from us in Leeds, we have watched this great sportsman over the years be a great ambassador for lots of young and older people out there. The greatness he has achieved during his career and since does not go unrecognised or celebrated by his old friends. we hope to see more of him in the media possibly leading his own show and also in Yorkshire hopefully starting a rugby academy.
