It must have been difficult for Hayley to try and surpass her Jai Ho routine from last week’s Dancing On Ice. After achieving perfect sixes from all the judges, the former Emmerdale actress must have felt the pressure to keep her standards high during prop week.

For tonight’s routine, Hayley and Daniel skated to ‘Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head’ and their prop was an umbrella. The routine was slick and professional, understated and romantic and shockingly we felt that they actually handled the prop better than Torville and Dean handled theirs at the start of the show. The routine ended with Daniel and Hayley cosying up as they brought the umbrella down as a shield. Did they kiss behind it? Well Hayley certainly looked pleased with herself when she emerged!

The judges scored Hayley 26.5 which puts her a full mark behind Danniella Westbrook on the leaderboard, but we don’t think that she will be in any danger tonight.
