Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack has claimed that she gets on well with her fellow Dancing On Ice competitor Heather Mills, despite rumours of a feud.

Emily’s mum is a cousin of Heather’s ex, Paul McCartney and reports have suggested that the 20 year old was desperate to beat her on the ITV1 show.

However Emily told The People: “There had been rumours that we weren’t getting on and people had been saying that I was determined to beat her on the ice and humiliate her. But I don’t want to beat her any more than I want to beat anyone else.

“So I thought, just to be polite, I would clear the air with her. We sat down and I told her I didn’t say any of that and she said she knew.

“She put on Twitter that we get on fine, just to put the record straight. So it’s fine.”

She added: “I saw Heather two years in a row at Paul’s New Year’s Eve party. She was always very nice.

“Whatever happens in a marriage, I believe it has nothing to do with anybody else.”
