Former Spice Girl Emma Bunton has promised to tell Jason Gardiner off, if he gets too nasty on next year’s Dancing On Ice.

Emma was announced as a new judge for the show this week, she will be replacing West End star Ruthie Henshall

Bunton told GMTV: “I’ve known Jason for a while and I tell you what, I’m going to be telling him off. Sometimes he needs to be constructive!”

On how she will approach her critique of the contestants Emma added: “I’m there for the performance, the connection with the audience, the choreography. I’ve been performing a long time now and I know what I want to see in the performance – and that’s going to be a big part of it for me.”
