We find it a little bit unfair that Hayley Tamaddon was given the only piece of modern music on tonight’s Dancing On Ice movie themed show. While Gary Lucy did Pulp Fiction and Danniella Westbrook did Grease, Hayley skated to Jai Ho from the movie Slumdog Millionaire.

We loved the very authentic and clean dance moves at the start of the routine and the enthusiasm with which Hayley and Daniel attacked it. Jai Ho means ‘Be victorious’ in Hindi and tonight we think that Hayley Tamaddon certainly was. She left Christopher Dean speechless and even received a standing ovation from the panel of judges.

Jason: From the minute you stepped onto that ice you were in the zone. I knew it would be electrifying and it was. Thank you for giving us one of the best performances we have ever seen.

Nicky: I could feel the hairs on my neck stand on end. It was so clipped, so powerful and absolutely beautiful.
