It looks like ITV bosses have forced Jason Gardiner to issue an apology to Sharron Davies, after comparing her to faecal matter on last night’s Dancing On Ice

On the ice skating show, Jason also branded Kieron Richardson as ‘too skinny’ and told him to spend more time in the gym.

Approximately 15,000 viewers have reportedly complained to ITV about the judge’s remarks and Jason has since issued a statement saying:

“On last night’s Dancing On Ice I was critiquing the performance of Sharron Davies and made some comments which may have caused offence to her and the viewers. For this I’m sorry and would like to apologise.”

On This Morning, host Phillip Schofield said: “He’s well known for being outspoken, but a great many people were offended. For that, we apologise.”
