Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardiner has claimed that Mikey Graham should never have been eliminated from the ITV skating show.

Blasting his fellow judges for saving Danniella Westbrook, even though she messed up her required element of a solo spin, Gardiner told The Sun:

“In the skate-off Mikey upped the ante and nailed three solo spins which was the required element.

“So how you can put through somebody who couldn’t get the proper required element?.

“Mikey was very graceful and elegant and it was a good solid performance. He was robbed.
“He can be very proud. He shouldn’t have gone.

“I’m shocked the other judges didn’t vote Danniella off – there is no doubt everyone has their favourites now.”

“The panel, except Nicky, shot themselves in the foot.

“Why do we have required elements if we don’t stick with them? Mikey’s performance was solid and he nailed his required element.”

He added: “I really adore Danniella but she didn’t nail her element. They put her through based on thinking her content was superior but I didn’t see that.”
