Dancing On Ice competitor Kieron Richardson has admitted that he is dreading hearing any criticism of his skating abilities on tonight’s show.

Kieron plays bad boy Ste on Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks but admitted that he’s more of a soft pushover than his on screen charcater.

Kieron told The Daily Star: “I’m really worried about ­facing the judges. I don’t deal with criticism very well so it’s quite possible that I could have a bit of a breakdown in front of the judges.”

“That’s what really scares me. Everyone thinks I’m like Ste in real life – a bit of a head case – but I’m not. I’m actually quite a shy person and I don’t have much confidence.”

“I’m just about holding it together. Last week was bad enough and I didn’t even have to skate. So I’m completely bricking it at the moment. I just want to get that first routine out of the way and hopefully my nerves will go away.”

“But at the moment my confidence is pretty low. I mean, you only have to look at Heather, Hayley or Tana to see what I’m up against. I really would love to bring home the ­trophy for Hollyoaks but I can’t see it.”
