Dancing on Ice 2010 launch watched by 10.2 million
The new series of Dancing on Ice last night peaked with an audience of 10.2 million viewers on ITV1. The show, from 6.45pm to 8.30pm averaged 8.9 million, 30 percent share – up on the opening episode of the 2009 series by 0.5 million.
Dancing on Ice: The Skate Off peaked at 8.1 million, averaging 7.6 million, 27 percent share, from 2130 to 2200 – up 0.9 million on the equivalent show last year.
The first in a new series of Wild at Heart, shown between the two shows from 2030 to 2130, averaged 7.8 million, 26 percent share. ITV News & Weather at 2200 averaged 5.6 million, 22 percent – compared to 4.4 million, 22 percent for the BBC News at 2230. All four programmes won their slots against other channels.
