Dancing On Ice contestant Mikey Graham has revealed that he skated on Sunday night after he learned that another close friend had passed away.

Just months after Mikey’s Boyzone bandmate Stephen Gately died, the body of Irish socialite Niall McCrudden was found at his home.

The Sun quote Mikey as saying: “I’m very sad today. I lost a very close pal and found out before I went on the ice yesterday. So damn tough.

“Another friend gone. RIP pal.”

Bandmate Keith Duffy added: “He was one of life’s true gentlemen and had a heart the size of Ireland. Niall was such a selfless guy.”
