Dancing on Ice judge Jason Gardiner has revealed that he was “confronted” by Sinitta’s mother, after her daughter was voted off the show.

The former pop singer found herself in the skate off with former swimmer Sharron Davies and was sent home after messing up her and Andrei’s frog lift.

Speaking on This Morning Jason told Sinitta: “I got accosted by your mum. Deciding to vote against you was a very tough decision, one of the hardest I have ever had to make on Dancing on Ice.

“Then I had to face your mother. She is a formidable character.”

Jason added: “I told her, `There are three other people on the panel, but she blamed me.”
