Laura Hamilton become the latest Dancing On Ice casualty.

The Nickelodeon presenter is said to have took a “chunk out her leg” while training last weekend. Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean told the This Morning hosts that the incident occurred while she was rehearsing her opening routine for the ITV reality TV show.

Dean wasn’t surprised by the incident. He admitted that so far he has been impressed by Hamilton’s courage on the ice, describing her as a “speed demon” who “really attacks it”.

Kerry Katona is also said to be suffering. Insiders say the troubled star has cracked two ribs during her recent training.

Vanilla Ice, Kerry Katona and Angela Rippon will head up this week’s series six launch show, alongside war hero Johnson Beharry, TV presenter Jeff Brazier, former Coronation Street actor Steven Arnold, Nickelodeon presenter Laura Hamilton and TV star Nadia Sawalha.

The sixth series of Dancing On Ice returns this Sunday at 6.30pm on ITV1.
