Heidi Range has confessed that she is still struggling to cope with her heartache, after splitting from her fiance Dave Berry last year.

The Dancing On Ice contestant got engaged to the TV and radio presenter back in 2009, however in December 2011 they announced their break up and it seems that Heidi is having a hard time in going it alone.

The Sugababes star told The Mirror that the split was a ‘horrible’ time for her, adding:

‘The end of last year was horrible.’

‘Splitting with Dave was horrible and I’m not over it.

‘We’re still great friends and I saw him last week… but it’s hard.’

However, Heidi is throwing herself into her Dancing On Ice training, as a way to help herself get over her recent hard time. She’s enjoying the routine and regiment of the regular rehearsals and added:

‘Dancing On Ice has got me through it. It’s given me a new lease of life.’

‘The show has been brilliant. It’s given me confidence and I’ve got my groove back.’

Heidi impressed the Dancing On Ice judges last week, after she won an on ice duel against Dallas star Charlene Tilton.

She will return to the rink tomorrow night, when the live show will also boast a live performance from X Factor boyband One Direction.
