Dancing On Ice 2012: Jorgie Porter and Matt Evers get highest score of series with big lift during ’9 to 5′ (VIDEO)
Jorgie Porter and Matt Evers had a lot to live up to when they returned to Dancing On Ice tonight.
The Hollyoaks actress was named one of the favourites to win after her first performance on the ITV show and a lot was expected of her when she gave her second performance this week.
Tonight, Jorgie was skating to ’9 to 5′ by Dolly Parton for the movie themed episode and was given a very difficult lift to perfect as part of the routine. She had to balance, twelve feet in the air, with just the centre of her bum on Matt’s palm and before taking to the rink the blonde beauty admitted that she was incredibly nervous.
Not that you’d have known, she leapt, skated, twirled and spun around the ice like a pro and pulled off every single move with what we thought was incredible talent for such an early stage of the competition. The lift was pulled off – although it was a bit wobbly – but she made it up and didn’t fall so props to the young star!
SCORE: 21.5
