Dancing On Ice 2012: Result was no shock as Corey Feldman’s routine was a bit of a mess!

Let me say I am not shocked at this weeks Dancing On Ice result, however I was shocked at Corey’s outburst (I won’t ruin it for anyone that hasn’t yet seen it…just go and watch it on repeat!) and at some of the couples that ended up in the skate off.

Jorgie and Matthew was always going to be the hardest one to call and I am a huge fan of both of them, but I do think that Matt had the edge on the night, and I think the right person was granted immunity. It is easy to forget that these people are just “ordinary” celebrities when we see them doing so well on the ice, but we mustn’t ever forget that. In a way I also think its slightly tougher for the male celebs, as they have to learn how to lift their partners as well as skating independently.

Back to the other contestants, Chico vs Sam, I thought they were both great, and I really enjoyed the routine, but again Chico had the edge, and the judges saved the right person. Corey vs Chemmy, well I don’t think there was any real competition there, Corey’s outburst aside, Chemmy was clearly the better skater and there was no question in my mind over who was going to be granted immunity. I also thought that Feldman’s routine was a bit of a mess, but that may have been due to Corey’s lack of cooperation during the week.

Charlene vs Heidi was not as clear cut as I thought it might be, for me Heidi is still a very nervous skater and I think Charlene is actually very good, but I know that Matthew works hard with his celebrity partner to get the best out of them.

Sebastien vs Jennifer was a bit of a shocker. I expected Jennifer to be way out in front, but I think Seb’s spin and a couple of daring lifts won it for him. I don’t know whether Jennifer was playing it safe due to her rib injury last week, but I think she still has a lot more to give. Shame she didn’t do it last night!

Rosemary vs Andy, was a bit of a surprise for me, I expected Andy to take the edge over rosemary, but I think he was a little bit too nice about it and didn’t take the duel as seriously as he could have. There were nervous performances from both of them on the night, and for me it was difficult to say whose routine was the best.

I think this may have shocked some of the more complacent celebrities into upping their game a bit, so it will be interesting to see their individual performances next week. I for one, can’t wait!

wasnt really an outburst now was it,more of corey being frustrated, and he was the better of the skaters in the skate off, which only robin reconised and the other 2 went off who they wanted to see which isnt what the skate off is about.
