Dancing on Ice 2012: Rosemary Conley ‘my bum and legs are the most toned they’ve ever been!’

Rosemary Conley has admitted that she loves the new figure all her Dancing On Ice training has given her.

The 65 year old fitness expert is currently competing on the ITV show and told The Mirror that the constant rehearsals and practice sessions have helped to make her feel decades younger and also a lot more slim.

She explained that despite always being health conscious, she now feels in the ‘best shape’ of her life and said:

“I still feel 35 and all the training I’ve been doing means that my bum and legs are the most toned they’ve ever been.

“I’m in the best shape of my life. My husband’s loving it.”

Conley also revealed that she has always wanted to star in the ice skating series but has been turned down three times previously by producers.

She added: “I said I wanted to fly the flag for the over-60s.

“This time they said yes. I must have worn them down. I just about hit the ceiling with excitement when the producer called to tell me I was in the show.

Rosemary won an on ice duel against Coronation Street actor Andy Whyment on Sunday’s live show, after two of the three judges chose her as the star to whom they wanted to grant immunity.

Judge Louie Spence praised her saying:

I would like to give you a round of applause Rosemary, it was elegant and graceful.
