Dancing On Ice 2013: Karen Barber says this year’s DOI is “The best series yet!”
Dancing On Ice judge Karen Barber has revealed that she thinks this year’s DOI will be “The best series yet” despite the fact that she’s on the judging panel with nemesis Jason Gardiner.
Jason and Karen of course first fell out when he told her if her opinion mattered, she’d be a judge rather than a coach, but lo, Karen is of course judging this year…
But according to Jason, that’s only because she’s dating mentor and pro-skater Christopher Dean, a claim which Karen of course denies.
Of catty Jason, Karen said, ‘”The thing with Jason is he seems to enjoy intimidating people.
“But he needs to pick his battles because I’m not scared of him.”

“The contestants have been great – Gareth Thomas is fantastic, he’s so strong. And Anthea Turner is so elegant.
“’Even in the first couple of weeks we’ve had some of the most difficult lifts we’ve ever seen this early in the series.”
