Dancing On Ice 2013: Luke Campbell’s fiancé Lynsey Kraanen says she trusts him “110%” not to cheat on her!
Relationships are made and broken backstage on Dancing On Ice, and we only need look to Samia Ghadie and Sylvain Longchambon’s romance for proof of that…
But while at one time Matt Lapinskas’ girlfriend Shona McGarty was anxious that her bloke might fancy his pro-skate partner Brianne Delcourt, Luke Campbell’s fiancé Lynsey Kraanen has no similar worries about her man and Jenna Smith.
Lynsey, who has two children with Olympic boxer Luke, said that she trusts her fiancé “110 per cent” and insists he’s a one-woman man…
She told the Mirror, “A lot of my friends asked me how I felt about Luke doing DOI and dancing with another ¬woman.
“I didn’t feel anything… it’s his job. If he was going to cheat, then he would cheat whether he was on the show or not.”
The paper adds, “But the show’s intimate dance routines often turn it into a hotbed of romance.
“Previous stars Danny Young and Brianne Delcourt and Chloe Madeley and Sam Attwater have gone on to form ¬romantic relationships.”
Of backstage romances, model Lynsey said, “Of course I can see how it can happen because it’s quite an intimate thing.”
She added, “I really feel for Luke because he’s so nervous. He doesn’t know what to do, where to look or where to put his hands!
“He’s so embarrassed about accidentally grabbing Jenna’s boobs. She’s the sweetest girl and she comes round to the house.
“It’s really nice to make her feel welcome.”
She continued, “When we first got together, Luke told me he was a one-woman man and he’s -always stuck by it.”
The couple became engaged in October 2011 after being together for five years.
Of that, Lynsey said, “When he proposed he rode a horse bareback wearing a knight’s outfit.
“I couldn’t believe my eyes. He jumped down and went down on one knee.
“We did set a date for the wedding but we got a bit too busy and had two babies, so we’re not planning anything at the minute.”
Awww how lovely! Isn’t it nice to hear about a solid loving couple instead of break-ups and affairs?!
Here’s a reminder of Luke’s performance last week…
