Luke Campbell may have some problems making it onto the ice tomorrow night it has been reported.
The Olympic boxer was due to be making his first appearance on Dancing On Ice on Sunday’s second show of the series, however his professional partner has fallen ill and has thrown his first routine into jeopardy.
Jenna Smith has been struck down with a tummy bug and though she’s trying to keep up her training sessions with the hunk, it’s been claimed that doctors have told the skater to take it easy and recuperate.
“Jenna has been to the doctor and told to rest up as much as possible. But obviously she can’t do that, so she’s been dragging herself to training,” a source told The Sun
“She’s not on top form and that won’t do them any favours for their first appearance on Sunday.
“Luke is nervous but he is determined to give everything he’s got.”
Jenna admitted that she wasn’t on top form this week and tweeted her fans saying:
“Laying in bed. I’m so sick. Boo.”
However she is persevering with the rehearsals and added:
“good enough for training . I will just be hiding under my covers sleeping the rest of the day after haha”
Luke revealed that he’s a little nervous about skating for the first time anyway and tweeted:
“After setting the bar high @realsamia @mattylapinskas @thekeithchegwin @bethtweddlenews @shayneTward iv got loads of work2 do. Thanks guys x”
Luke, Lauren Goodger, Anthea Turner, Oona King and Joe Pasquale will all skate on live TV tomorrow for the first time.
Bookies are tipping Anthea or Oona as the next stars who will be eliminated. What do you think? Leave your comments below…
