Lauren Goodger has revealed that she doesn’t bear any grudges against Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardiner, after he slated her first performance on the show last night.

The star of The Only Way Is Essex was axed from the series during her first live episode, but before the public even got to vote for their favourite skater, the caustic judge criticised her ice skating skills. telling her she had “no connection” and “no heart” and adding that she had “all the sensuality of a walrus.” He concluded his onslaught by saying that the whole routine was “very disappointing.”

Lauren later found herself in the skate off against Anthea Turner and was voted off unanimously by the whole panel. Speaking about the experience on This Morning she said:

“I feel ok, I feel good.”

She added:

“I’m not upset because I didn’t ruin my routine, I didn’t trip and I was really pleased with my performance.

“It is so full on and we were really dedicated and it was a lot to take on but I enjoyed it and it was great experience as well.”

Kerry Katona was also on the show and took great offence at Gardiner’s walrus comments, however Goodger wasn’t so upset and explained:

“I think Jason was talking about the performance rather than me as a person, that’s just Jason.”

She continued:

“I kind of just laughed it off. I didn’t really take it personally because that’s the way he is and I was expecting that.”

Lauren looked almost relieved to be finished with the ITV show and she admitted that the whole thing had left her feeling drained and stressed.

“I think mentally and physically it is draining,” she said, “because you want to do well there is so much to think about and it was completely new to me and completely out of my comfort zone. I think I got really stressed and upset because I wanted to do well.”

Lauren had hoped that her one million Twitter followers would equate to a high number of votes on the show but it wasn’t to be and she added:

“I was on Twitter and I thought I’m going to be fine because my fans are behind me. I got great support on it but it didn’t save me and as soon as I was in the bottom two I knew I was going.”
