Samia Ghadie has sustained yet another injury during her Dancing On Ice training.
The Coronation Street babe has been making headlines because of her relationship with professional partner Sylvain Longchambon but aside from whatever is going on in her personal life, it seems the actress has been putting her all into her new routine for the next live show.
In an interview with Now magazine, Dan Whiston – who partners Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle – admitted that he has a lot of respect and admiration for Samia and explained that despite breaking a rib during a rehearsal session, she has been pushing on and working hard.
“Samia Ghadie’s such a trooper – she broke her rib doing some lifts in training.
“It’s been really painful for her but she’s gritting her teeth and getting on with it and I think she’s doing really well!”
The brunette beauty admitted herself that she’s also hurt her hips because of all the new moves, saying:
“My hips are so painful that if I touch them with the tip of my finger, it hurts.”
However, it seems she’s still enjoying the experience and she hasn’t let a silly old broken bone stop her form attempting new lifts and tricks.
She tweeted yesterday saying:
“Just finished training for the day.. Done some exciting new lifts!! #DOI”
Sylvain is proud of his new woman too and admitted on Sunday night that he was eager to get started on their second routine of the series. he wrote:
“Thank you so much to all our followers for your support and your votes! Can’t wait for our new routine!! @realsamia you rocked!!”
The pair will enjoy a bit of a break this weekend, as the second half of the celebrity skaters take to the rink for the first time. Samia and Sylvain will be back on the ice on Sunday 20th January.
