Laura Hamilton were seen struggling when they were asked to choreograph their own Bolero routine for tonight’s live show.

After reaching the final of Dancing On Ice, the pair were required to perform their version of Torvill and Dean’s iconic routine, but in the days leading up to the live show they both struggled to put their moves together.

When they took to the rink tonight, both skaters captured the mood of the passionate number perfectly, however we felt it lacked the excitement and heart stopping quality of Sam and Brianne’s version.

After the performance Laura said:

“I was genuinely the most scared that I have ever been. It was not easy.”

“I think it’s such an iconic routine that you want to make Chris and Jayne really proud of what you’re doing, so there’s that added pressure.”

Jason Gardiner added:

“You guys have been absolutely brilliant throughout this series. This Bolero for me was slow to get going, it just didn’t find it’s place in enough time for me. The second half absolutely better than the first. It lacked the choreographic finesse of Sam’s but that comes down to the inexperience we have with the two of you but overall you have been an amazing competitor.”

Will it be enough to land them the winner’s trophy? We’ll find out in five minutes time!
