Professional ice skater, Maria Filippov, has admitted that she didn’t want to perform with Ray Quinn at the start of the series.

“At first I was really worried because he’s only 20, and boys that age can be hyperactive and always going at 100 miles per hour so I thought he’d be hard work,” Filippov told The Mirror.

“But it’s been absolutely amazing working with him, a real challenge for me too because he’s so good.”
