Dancing On Ice: Michael Underwood Blasts Todd Carty’s Silliness
Dancing On Ice competitor Michael Underwood has hit out at Todd Carty for his on ice silliness saying that he is trying to mislead the viewers of the show.
Last week Todd was seen stumbling off the rink in what has to have been one of the most hilarious TV moments ever, but Underwood says that Carty is a much more skilled skater than he pretends to be.
“Todd is nowhere near as bad as he is making out,” Underwood told the Daily Star Sunday. “When the cameras are off he is gliding along the ice but then once the routine starts it’s like he can’t stay upright all of a sudden.
“He is definitely trying to play the clown and trying to fulfil the John Sergeant role.”
TV host Underwood also revealed that their are fears for the safety of Carty’s professional partner Susie Lipanova.
“Susie has actually talked about how worried she is about getting injured,” he explained. “OK, Todd’s clowning around is funny up to a point but she doesn’t want to get dragged down with him if one of the silly stunts goes wrong.
“At the end of the day he might be having fun but this is her career and she feels she’s taking a big risk skating with him.”

If he is making the clumsy skating up he must be a very skilled skater. It has alwasy been said that it is difficult to pretend you cannot skate and act like a fool and is much harder than actual skating. This was said by professional skaters who do perform in ice shows, so not sure that Todd can be making up to that extent or that Jane and Chris would allow it they see him without the cameras, sounds a bit like jealousy. Micheal was the most popular when he was in it and now Todd is, plus Michael is failing to amaze us with his skating.

To pretend to be such a clumsy skater if he actually isn’t would mean he is in reality a highly skilled skater and would beg the question why bother being clumsy.
I think Underwood realises that only two types of characters matter in these sort of shows the hilariously bad, and the supremely talented, for people like him who fall in between he can as well have sat down at home.
How on earth can that moron Todd Carty still be on the programme…. what does it say about the great thick stupid mass of the British public…. he is another John Sergeant and if he has anything about him he will LEAVE THE SHOW NOW! He is not only useless… he is worse than useless and he is the cause of far, far better skaters being given the boot… so to speak… Get rid of that COMPLETE INCOMPETENT TW……. HE IS YESTERDAY’S news!!!!

I’m have been watching dancing on ice since it first started,but that man, Todd Carty should hang his skates up.He is useless,and should not be in the show.If he gets in next week,I will not be watching it again.The other contestant, are getting voted off,and that useles twerp is still there .
