Dancing On Ice Results: Johnson Beharry leaves

Johnson Beharry has been eliminated from Dancing On Ice.

The Iraq war hero narrowly missed out on the chance to perform The Bolero in next week’s final show, after finding himself in the bottom two alongside TV personality Chloe Madeley.

Chloe had fallen during her initial performance, but managed to improve on the routine the second time round and this time, kept her hands off the rink. She was slightly more hestitant at times, but overall skated well, even though she admitted to being much more nervous on the results show.

Johnson, lovely as he is, was a stilted as ever during the skate off and just a minute into his routine it became clear that he would be the one to leave tonight. Afterwards he admitted that he was disappointed saying:

Actually it didn’t feel as good as the first one. I had a few moments….I felt it.

After his solo performance in the earlier show, Jason Gardiner had told Beharry that he was ‘was worried and I was far from happy with that,’ and when it came to choosing between him and Chloe, Gardiner stuck to his guns. Emma and Robin agreed and on hearing the news Johnson told Phillip Schofield:

“No need to be sad I had loads of fun. No need to be sad. I had the time of my life.”

I want to say thanks to Jodeyene and everyone else – but especially Jodeyne because she actually helped me so much and words can’t describe how much she helped me.

I wholly agree with the result of this evening and although Johnson should be much admired for his great achievment, considering he could barely stand on the ice initially, his was the much weaker skater. For once a good and fair result from the public vote.

  2. Johnson has had to try so much because he could not remember things because of his injury and still got this far, his country should be proud of him, Cloe has got has far as she has because of her mother and father, I hope she doesn;t win and probably will not any way so why not give Johnson the final he wanted and would have been thrilled to be in and his this country and countless soldiers owed him this,

Sadly it had to be Johnson that left this evening. Despite being a lovely guy, he had not built up the skills that the other contestants had developed. The competition was for ‘dancing on ice’ and he just couldn’t keep up with the others. We are all the better for getting to know him though and I’m sure everyone wishes him all the best.

I definitely agree. Well done to Johnson for improving so much over the past 5 months and staying in the show until the semi-finals,but,he was the weaker of all the skaters tonight.

  5. Ally says:

Agree with the results tonight. A very fair public vote. Shame to see Chloe getting slammed once again though – the girl can skate despite who her parents are. The same could have been said about Johnson in fact that people only voted for him because of his past? Looking forward to the final however and wish Johnson all the very best for the future.

Johnson has done amazingly, but it was right he should have gone last night. What is definitely Not Right however, is the amount of time tv cameras cut to Mr & Mrs Madely, do they perhaps own shares in said company?. Stop the bias now!!!!!!!!

  7. Susan says:

Mr & Mrs Madely are not on the ice skating. Chloe got to where she is in the competition not because of them, but because she has put the work in. She can skate so give her a break

  8. JOLLY WELL DONE TO GET AS FAR AS YOU DID.
YOUR COUNTRY IS PROUD OF YOU. WELL DONE JODEYNE FOR BELIEVING IN YOU. KEEP UP THE SKATING AND VERY BEST WISHES FOR THE FUTURE.

Grr I wish he got further he should have 1. I love him. He did really well though

  10. Well done VC Johnson. You are a credit to your colleagues. family and friends. You have courage. Keep the camera off the Madeley’s, they are not taking part in Dancing on Ice, they are spectators!!!

Would have loved to see Vanilla Ice in the final but glad the public votes were fair this week and the best three skaters went through. I agree with Susan and Ally. Chloe CAN skate and has every right to be in the finals!
I always thought the Madeleys were shown on camera too often as well until I really paid attention this week and discovered that the camera pans to the family of the skater who is on at the time. Johnsons family were shown several times on camera while he was skating. Maybe its because the Madeleys are well known that we think they are always on. They were only on camera when Chloe was skating!
