Anyone watching Dancing On Ice on ITV1 last night would never have guessed that Suzanne Shaw was injured.

It was hard to believe as she skated to the Fame theme tune, that she was suffering from a cracked rib, but suffering she was.

Suzanne sustained the injury during a lift in yesterday’s rehearsals and after seeing a doctor, and getting seriously strapped up, Suzanne decided that the show must go on.

A show source told The Sun: “Suzanne was determined to carry on. We said she didn’t have to perform, but she doesn’t want to let anything stand in her way.”

Suzanne went on to finish second place in the leader board, behind only the amazing Chris Fountain.
