Former Dancing On Ice winner Suzanne Shaw has admitted that she won’ be appearing on this year’s live tour, due to injuries she has sustained.

On yesterday’s This Morning TV show, Shaw explained: “I am not doing it this year, I have go to the point where I am now so clumsy on the ice that I injure myself all the time. I have just got to stick to my day job now.

“I had about four or five injuries while in the competition. I think that the worst one was when I chipped a bone in my ankle, that was pretty painful. I also had a skate to the head which wasn’t pleasant and the usual rib injuries.”

However, she confessed that she finds it hard to watch the ITV TV show, as she gets jealous of the new stars competing.

She told This Morning: “Last year I found it hard to watch the show as I was really jealous of the celebrity contestants and I wanted to do it again. This year I am finding it a lot easier to watch, but I still miss it.

“I think that it would be really nice to be doing it again because it was such an exciting time.”
