Todd Carty may have bee voted off ITV’s Dancing On Ice, but he revealed on This Morning that he will not be hanging up his skates for good.

Show bosses have booked the former Eastenders star for the nationwide tour, despite the fact that they normally reserve that privilege for people who make it to the later stages of the show.

On yesterday’s This Morning Jason Gardiner revealed that he was glad Todd had left as he felt he was playing the clown too often.

He said: “When comedy is done for real it is funny, but if you try to ham it up as a clown it’s no longer funny. It’s irritating.”

But Todd hit back, saying: “I don’t make up my routines. The guys gave me that routine. Maybe you should have been there.”
