Eastenders actress Daniella Westbrook has admitted that her first Dancing On Ice routine reduced her to tears, after she realised how difficult it was.

The former cocaine addict told The Mirror:

“I did cry once…I got my first routine about two days before.

“I was thinking I can cope with this, I know what I’m doing…(but then) I got really overwhelmed with the fact that I’m there, I was doing a routine on the ice, I’d only started skating four weeks before because I was working on EastEnders, and all of a sudden I’m doing this routine and it’s all quite scary.”

Dancing On Ice kicks off this Friday on ITV1.
