Hayley Tamaddon is reportedly “mortified” that one of her ice skates slashed through her Dancing On Ice partner Dan Whiton’s wrist.

It seems that Dan needed medical attention after the mishap and first aiders on scene bandaged his wound which was apparently bleeding heavily.

Hayley told The Sun’s TV Biz, “It was horrible and I felt really guilty…

“The metal hooks on my blades cut Dan. It’s a really tricky move and if I get it slightly wrong it slashes his arm”

“I think I was more shaken than him. But we’re determined to do it on the night, no matter what.”

Dan and Hayley have been friends since they were at school together, so Dan’s not holding any grudges over the mishap.

He said, “It’s a really tricky lift, which involves Hayley’s skates skimming my arms.

“Ever since we’ve been training it’s been ripping my shirt off – and now it’s cut my arm.

“It’s all OK and it won’t stop us from attempting the lift on Sunday.”
