Heidi Range, Charlene Tilton, Andy Whyment and Jorgie Porter to skate on tonight’s Dancing On Ice
Dancing On Ice kicks off on ITV1 tonight and the first batch of celebrities will take to the ice for the first time.
In the debut show of the 2012 series, viewers will be treated to performances by Sugababes star Heidi Range and her stand in partner Andrei Lipanov, Ski champion Chemmy Alcott and her partner Sean Rice, Dallas actress Charlene Tilton and professional Matt Gonzalez and Blue Peter star Andy Akinwolere and his trainer Maria Filippov.
Also skating on the first episode will be Coronation Street star Andy Whyment and Vicky Ogden, children’s TV presenter Mark Rhodes and feisty Frankie Poultney and Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter with hunky Matt Evers.
Eastenders actress Laila Morse, fitness expert Rosemary Conley, former X Factor star Chico Slimani, the Lost Boys actor Corey Feldman, Emmerdale star Matthew Wolfenden, children’s TV presenter Sam Nixon and freerunning expert Sebastian Foucan will all make an appearance this evening, but will give their first full performance on next Sunday’s episode.

I’ve been a fan of Dancing on Ice for years and have booked to see the live shows regularly – but what’s happened gradually the great professionals have faded away leaving the few really good regulars but unfortunately it’s not enough. This year who are the judges???? Where is Jason much hated but really important part of the show – why did Karen go anyway, Where is Nicky Slater much as I love and admire Chris and Jane I’m losing interest in the show – there has been too many changes. I never used to watch Strictly Come Dancing but am now a real fan it goes from strength to strength using the same popular professionals year after year, the same judges and a winning formula!! Please who is this new judge with the long dark hair – sorry she’s so non descript I can’t even remember her name, same for the bald ‘male’ who sits between her and Robin – please Dancing on Ice bring back some personalities on the judging panel who have some background so we know their comments are worthy of note – Sorry i’m fast loosing interest in this series
