Heidi Range has admitted that she is loving taking part in this year’s Dancing On Ice, if for no other reason than the weight is dropping off her week by week.

The Sugababes singer has dropped two dress sizes since starting rehearsals for the ITV show and revealed that she wants to stay in her size six jeans as long as she possibly can.

Range – who recently split from her fiance Dave Berry – told The Mirror that she is loving her new figure and laughed:

“The weight loss has been brilliant!”

“I was just over eight-and-a-half stone before I started. I’m 5ft 2in and I’ve always had to work really hard on my figure.

“Now I’m more toned than ever. I see my personal trainer three times a week, on top of the skate training.”

Heidi added: “I bought Size 6 jeans the other day – I don’t want to be putting my Size 10 on again… I think they were a big 6 though, if I’m honest.”

Range looked stunning on last night’s show, in a body hugging gold bodysuit which left little to the imagination.

Her James Bond themed routine to ‘Goldfinger’ went down well with the judges too and after she scored a respectable 15.5, head panelist Robin Cousins told the star:

Not nearly as timid as the first time out. There was more attack and the skating was smoother.
