Ray Quinn stepped onto the Dancing On Ice rink tonight and just blew everyone away.

He was up at the level that Chris Fountain started at last year and Chris had plenty of previous experience which Ray is lacking. Ray is a dancer and a singer by trade but tonight, watching his routine you could have been fooled into thinking he had been ice skating for years.

Ray even impressed the hard nosed Jason Gardiner who awarded him a 4.5 before saying:

“Wow, thank goodness we have somebody in the competition who’s brilliant. You have everything we would expect to see from a finalist. Heaven forbid you don’t break anything you will go all the way in this competition I can not wait see you every week perform.”

I predict Ray will be in the final this year, but I bet that at this stage the bookies won’t be offering great odds. He is bound to be almost guaranteed a top spot.
