Kieron Richardson cried after first Dancing On Ice rehearsal
Kieron Richardson has admitted that the first day of rehearsals for ITV’s Dancing On Ice reduced him to tears.
The Hollyoaks actor admitted that he found training much harder than he’d expected. He told The Mirror:
“The first day was the worst. We turned up at the ice rink, Torville and Dean were there, and I was a bit like, ‘oh my god!’
“And then they’re like, ‘now, let’s skate’, bearing in mind we had no training at this point. I watched all the other celebrities and I was the only one to fall over and it really knocked my confidence. I went home and probably cried a bit and thought what on earth am I doing?”
Kieron also admitted that he doesn’t expect to be the show’s next Chris Fountain. He laughed:
“Everyone’s expecting me to come second or finally win for Hollyoaks! But it ain’t going to happen. If it does, it’ll be thanks to everyone for voting for me, as it won’t be down to my technique.”
